Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) seeks a Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer in El Segundo, CA to support the U.S. Space Force mission.

You will join a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team and contribute to an expanding portfolio of space mission operation simulations and trade studies. The role requires a strong background in simulation development (STK/AFSIM/GMAT/FreeFlyer) and leadership experience, with eligibility for SCI access and related clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, astronautics, mathematics, or physics and nine years of experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, or C++).
• Experience with live, virtual, and/or constructive (LVC) simulation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a multidisciplinary mission operations modeling, simulation, and analysis team informing the United States Space Force acquisition decision process.
• Develop and test simulation applications and integrate tools into an automated system-level trade study execution architecture.
• Define requirements, designs, and implement an ever-growing portfolio of space mission operations analysis simulations and trade studies.
