SAIC's Horizon program in El Segundo, California seeks a Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer to support the U.S. Space Force's Space Combat Power objectives.

You will contribute as a modeling and simulation developer on a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team delivering mission operation simulations and trade studies. Responsibilities include developing and testing simulation applications, defining requirements, and integrating tools like STK, AFSIM, GMAT, and FreeFlyer.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, astronautics, mathematics, or physics with two years of experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, or C++.
• Live, virtual, and/or constructive (LVC) simulation techniques and technologies.
• Simulation development with environments such as STK, AFSIM, GMAT, or FreeFlyer.
• MATLAB and/or Simulink or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of satellite orbital mechanics, remote sensing, spacecraft launch/command/control, and/or satellite communications.
• Familiar with file/dir management, network sharing, and command shells.

Responsabilidades

• Be a member of a fast-paced multidisciplinary mission operations modeling, simulation, and analysis team informing Space Force acquisition decisions.
• Develop and test simulation applications and integrate mission tools into an automated trade study framework.
• Define requirements, specify designs, and implement space mission operation simulations and trade studies.
