Job summary

SAIC is seeking a qualified candidate to support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center in Colorado Springs with expertise in missile warning and tracking systems and modeling and simulation. The role requires significant M&S experience and the ability to interface across multiple DoD and IC organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with nine or more years of experience or Master’s with seven or more years.
• Demonstrated experience building complex space system models and simulations in AFSIM.
• Experience with Python and/or MATLAB for modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of MW/MT systems and operations.
• SCI and Special Access eligibility and ability to work in a classified environment are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop missile warning/tracking simulations and trajectory files using AFSIM.
• Create modeling/analysis scripts in Python and MATLAB.
• Build space-based missile warning models using STK/SOAP and integrate with force designs.
• Support analysis planning, execution, and results evaluation.
• Coordinate cross-agency M&S efforts and communicate results to leaders.
