Job summary

SAIC in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center. The role emphasizes space and ground data networks, TT&C architectures, and analytic modeling to inform force design and program outcomes.

You will collaborate with program offices and IC partners, develop visualizations, and produce written and presenting materials for leadership, with a TS/SCI-level clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum in space-relevant engineering or science fields.
• Advanced degree preferred for higher responsibility.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with CI polygraph required or able to obtain.
• Experience with space and ground data networks, TT&C.
• Experience in modeling and simulation for force design metrics.
• Proficiency with native cloud solutions such as Azure.

Responsibilities

• Support SWAC Force Design analytic efforts and improve software for cognitive assessment and constructive analysis.
• Evaluate, modify, and test models in SPySE and other tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs to deliver informed models.
• Improve interfaces and communicate TT&C and satellite control requirements for satellite tasking.
• Create written and presentation products from analytic results.
• Build products using Microsoft Office.
