Job summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Space ISR Modeling Engineer to support SWAC/MDSP/ISRT in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on developing and executing space-based ISR models, analyzing results, and coordinating modeling efforts across partners.

The candidate will implement tools such as AF SIM, STK, SOAP, Python, VB, and Matlab to advance space-based ISR concepts and architectures. Strong collaboration and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS with >=9 years experience in space ISR modeling or related field.
• Experience with space-based ISR systems and M&S tools.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize modeling results for decision making.
• Experience coordinating multi-agency modeling efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop target missile simulations and trajectory files using M&S tools (AFSIM).
• Create analysis scripts in VB, Python, and Matlab.
• Build space-based missile warning models using STK/SOAP and integrate with ISR designs.
• Support force design analysis planning and result evaluation.
• Collaborate with multiple agencies and cross-functional teams.
