Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Model and Simulation Systems Engineer to support live, virtual, and constructive training for space operations. You will develop concepts of operations and system architectures, using STK, MBSE, and SysML, at a site in Colorado Springs.

The role requires space domain expertise, CC/TOE development experience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving tasks and priorities. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree with extensive relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain polygraph.
• Strong knowledge of space operations, orbital mechanics, and Space Domain Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support live, virtual, and constructive training and exercises at NSDC.
• Develop and present concepts of operations and notional system architectures.
• Demonstrate modeling and simulation of engagements and mission planning operations.
• Collaborate with government and contractor teams at a customer site in Colorado Springs.
