Job summary

RTX's ISMA Directorate seeks a technical professional to model and simulate satellites and space systems, developing algorithms for tracking and data fusion. You will work on mission data processing and performance studies to support system-of-systems integration.

Responsibilities include end-to-end requirements evaluation, algorithm development, and metrics to validate architectures aligned with DoD space and missile objectives. Onsite in El Segundo with clearances required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in space/missile systems.
• Experience with or similar: simulation and analysis tools for aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate end-to-end system requirements and interfaces for space/missile systems.
• Model and simulate satellites, constellations, and system-of-systems architectures.
• Develop mission data processing algorithms to improve detection, tracking, and data fusion.
• Create model-based solutions for trade studies and performance simulations.
• Develop metrics to validate architectures against system requirements.
