Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a hands‑on Operations specialist to support design, fabrication, and integration of space launch components. You will coordinate machining, welding, and assembly tasks, track materials, and work with multiple departments to keep builds on schedule.

The role emphasizes planning, communication, and problem solving in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment on the Space Coast.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required; welding/machining or related field preferred.
• Experience with planning and scheduling activities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• LEAN/Six Sigma knowledge desired.
• Able to work across multiple departments and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings to determine build plan and manufacturability.
• Coordinate material availability to meet schedules.
• Release work orders in MRP and reconcile parts.
• Multitask across simultaneous builds.
• Communicate status and constraints to schedule.
• Interface with departments and serve as customer contact.
• Expedite material shortages with procurement.
