Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space Systems Engineering Leader to provide technical assessments of foreign space systems and leverage technical intelligence with NSIC at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. You will act as a technical contributor and primary project coordinator on space system engineering analyses, coordinating with government teams to deliver impactful results.

Required are a science/engineering degree and 6+ years in engineering, with knowledge of satellite threat technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or mathematics required.
• 6+ years of engineering or related technical experience.
• Understanding of satellite threat technologies and applications.
• Experience with analysis of directed energy systems or onboard satellite processing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work in teams.
• Willing to travel around 10% and able to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assessments of space systems and intelligence data.
• Coordinate with NSIC and PWW team to deliver analyses.
• Support customers with engineering analyses and technical coordination.
• Leverage tools and intelligence to evaluate space system performance parameters.
• Facilitate interaction between Aerospace staff and government customers.
