Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineering Specialist to support space vehicle systems engineering for national and international programs. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to the design, analysis, and verification of space systems across defense, civil, and commercial customers.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in space systems engineering, an active Top Secret clearance, and the ability to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science discipline.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently and conduct long-range studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide space vehicle systems engineering support for customer programs, especially IC.
• Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary studies to assess designs.
• Evaluate feasibility during milestones like PDR/CDR.
• Deliver products requiring space systems engineering expertise.
• Mentor junior department members.
