Job summary

KBR is seeking a SETA Systems Engineer (Mid) to support our Chantilly, VA client. You will provide systems engineering and analytic support, integrating intel with engineering analysis to evaluate space and counterspace capabilities.

The role requires 5–10 years in space/defense, STK/AFSIM experience, TS/SCI with Poly, and collaboration across IC/DoD. On-site work with standard 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in space, defense, or IC analysis or systems engineering.
• Experience with space mission M&S tools (STK, AFSIM).
• Understanding of space and ground architectures.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end mission engineering activities.
• Develop M&S cases using STK/AFSIM/Python/MATLAB.
• Translate intelligence into technical requirements and MOP/MOE.
• Coordinate with IC/DoD mission centers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to test & evaluation planning and data sufficiency.
• Produce technically grounded assessments and briefings.
• Provide SETA support across the lifecycle.
• Apply analytic standards and QA to engineering products.
