Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (SETA) to support government programs in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on providing independent technical assessments, engineering oversight, and acquisition support for space and counterspace initiatives.

You will lead the development, integration, and optimization of space system architectures, oversee requirements and verification, and manage lifecycle engineering from concept to sustainment. Expect on-site work with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 12+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience with DoDAF or MBSE.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA support to program managers with independent assessments.
• Lead development, integration, and optimization of space system architectures.
• Oversee requirements development, verification, validation, and configuration management.
• Direct end‑to‑end lifecycle engineering activities.
• Coordinate with intelligence analysts and mission partners.
