Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Systems Engineer Level 2/3 to join our team in Gilbert, AZ or Dulles, VA. You will manage hosted payload interfaces to the spacecraft bus, develop ICDs, and support mission planning and various test activities.

The role requires a STEM degree with experience in systems engineering, architecture and interface management, plus an active Top Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required for program needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with space systems experience or a related discipline.
Experience in systems engineering, architecture studies, requirements and interface management.
Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Responsibilities

Develop system and subsystem architectures and define critical interfaces.
Create and manage ICDs and requirements, perform trade studies and mission analyses.
Support test planning, integration, and on-orbit verification activities.
Assist in proposal writing, cost estimation, and program readiness reviews.
