Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to support the Space Systems Division in the Assembly Integration and Test sequence. You will work with a mentor and collaborate across teams to apply engineering concepts on satellite development.

The role requires enrollment in an engineering/physics/math degree with at least one semester remaining, a GPA of 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor and teammates to apply engineering concepts.
• Contribute to the development of space systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning.
• Participate in tech talks and networking events for interns and employees.
