Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking an Integration and Test Intern based in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will support the Space Systems Integration and Test Team, contributing to satellite programs, where you'll apply your engineering studies in a practical setting.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in an engineering or related discipline, has a GPA of 3.0 or above, and possesses a minimum of three months of applied engineering experience. The position is full-time for at least 12 weeks starting in August or September 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Space Systems Integration and Test Team’s integration and test equipment.
• Work with professionals to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend 1:1’s with mentors for learning and progress updates.
