Job summary

Amentum at Kennedy Space Center, FL is seeking an entry-level engineer on the KPLSS II program to plan and oversee development, testing, installation, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems within a design/review team.

Responsibilities include performing supervised tasks, updating specifications and documents, using Maximo for work orders, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring safety and compliance with NACI and security requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 0-1 year of job-related experience or equivalent.
  • Must have good communications and analytical skills.
  • May require travel. Must be able to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. US citizenship is required for restricted area access. National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering tasks under supervision, including design, analysis, and document updates.
  • Audit drawings and provide redline updates.
  • Create work orders and workflow using Maximo.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
  • Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
