Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join the Space Systems EGSE team in Linthicum, MD. The role focuses on design, fabrication and integration of EGSE test sets used to check out flight hardware on ground tests.

Responsibilities include panel design, interconnects, and verification; collaboration with engineers and vendors; and hands‑on testing in a lab. On-site work only; active Secret clearance required at start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree.
• Senior candidates may have 5 years of experience plus a master’s degree.
• Strong hardware design knowledge: analog, power, digital, panels and cables.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate in writing.

Responsibilities

• Panel and cable design, electrical interconnects and schematics.
• Develop acceptance criteria and certification procedures for EGSE.
• Perform integration, checkout and troubleshooting of test equipment.
• Interface with test engineers, operators, technicians and vendors.
