Vast is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise-level engineering and manufacturing information systems from our Long Beach, CA location. You will work with TPMs, IT, and end users to map processes, document requirements, and ensure data integrity across MES/ERP environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on analysis, training material creation, and post‑go‑live support. Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a business analyst in manufacturing settings, strong Jira/Confluence skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical, engineering, or business field.
• 2+ years in business analysis supporting MES/ERP environments.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
• Strong communication and ability to handle high volumes of concurrent requests.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset with data validation.
• Experience creating user guides and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between TPMs, IT help desk, and end users across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
• Document current-state workflows and identify process gaps / inefficiencies.
• Perform triage to provide first-line support and analysis before escalating requests to product managers or vendors.
• Gather detailed functional requirements to develop use cases, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Support cross-system data mapping / integrations and identify gaps between standard functionality and business needs.
• Participate in configuration reviews and solution walkthroughs, support vendor evaluations.
• Create and maintain process documentation and training/user guides; support training delivery.
• Act as a resource for super users; support post-go-live stabilization of new features.
