Job summary

Vast is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise-level engineering and manufacturing information systems in a fast-paced environment. You will document workflows, map data across systems, and work closely with TPMs, IT help desk, and end users to resolve issues efficiently.

The role involves gathering detailed requirements, enabling cross-system integrations, and contributing to process documentation and user guides while supporting post-go-live stabilization of new features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years hands‑on experience in a business analyst or similar role supporting manufacturing software e.g., MES, ERP.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools: Jira for tracking/managing work, Confluence for documentation.
• Comfortable working directly with end users and handling a high volume of concurrent requests.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail when validating data or system behavior.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience authoring how‑to guides, training materials, or user documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between TPMs, IT help desk, and end users across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
• Document current-state workflows and identify process gaps / inefficiencies.
• Provide first-line support and analysis before escalating requests to product managers or vendors.
• Gather functional requirements to develop use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Support data mapping / integrations and identify gaps between system functionality and business needs.
• Participate in configuration reviews and vendor evaluations from a functional perspective.
• Create and maintain process documentation and training materials; support training delivery.
• Support post-go-live stabilization of new features.
