Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, CA seeks a Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise-level engineering and manufacturing information systems. You will provide hands-on functional support, document workflows, and translate business needs into technical requirements for MES/ERP implementations.

This full-time role requires collaboration with product managers, IT, and end users, plus strong communication skills and the ability to handle a high volume of requests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between TPMs, IT help desk, and end users across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions
• Document current-state workflows and identify process gaps / inefficiencies
• Provide first-line triage and analysis before escalation to product managers or vendors
• Gather detailed functional requirements to develop use cases, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Support cross-system data mapping / integrations and identify gaps between standard system functionality and business needs
• Participate in configuration reviews and solution walkthroughs, support vendor/solution evaluations from a functional perspective
• Create and maintain process documentation and training/user guides; support training delivery
• Act as a resource for super users; support post-go-live stabilization of new features
