Job summary

Vast in Long Beach is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise-level engineering and manufacturing information systems. You will work with Technical Product Managers, IT, and end users to ensure system functionality meets business needs in a fast-paced space environment.

The role requires collaboration across manufacturing, engineering, and quality, documenting workflows, gathering requirements, and supporting data integrations, training, and post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, or business field or equivalent.
• 2+ years as business analyst in manufacturing software (MES/ERP).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication and data validation skills.
• Ability to document processes and train users.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between TPMs, IT help desk, and end users across engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
• Document current-state workflows and identify gaps.
• Provide first-line triage and escalate requests as needed.
• Gather functional requirements to develop use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Support data mapping, integrations, and cross-system gaps.
• Participate in config reviews and vendor evaluations.
• Create process docs and training materials; deliver training.
• Support post-go-live stabilization.
