Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space Systems Architecture Undergraduate Intern to perform architecture-level assessment, modeling, and conceptual design as part of the ArCon team. The role involves cross-disciplinary team collaboration and MBSE development.

Work is 100% onsite at Chantilly, VA; El Segundo, CA; or Colorado Springs, CO. Interns will contribute to architecture studies, trade analyses, and program assessment activities for NSS, NASA, and other programs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Junior standing must be completed by internship start date.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Apply architecture methods, processes, and tools for trades and analysis.
• Participate in space system architecting and design activities with cross-disciplinary interns.
• Develop methods for MBSE and digital engineering within the architecture lifecycle.
• Evaluate concepts for cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
• Collaborate with Aerospace personnel across disciplines to enable concurrent engineering.
• Identify needs and scope studies; plan, execute, and present findings.
