The Aerospace Corporation invites applications for a Graduate Intern in the Space Control and Awareness Department, offering 100% onsite work in Colorado Springs, CO or El Segundo, CA. You will support space mission analyses, orbit determination, GNSS analysis, and sensor performance evaluations.

This 10-week, full-time internship requires a completed Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a graduate STEM program, GPA 3.0, and eligibility for a U.S. government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed and currently enrolled fulltime in a graduate STEM program OR senior class standing by internship start date.
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term.
• Completion of Bachelor’s degree prior to internship start date.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Experience programming in MatLab, Python, C, C++ or JAVA.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Algorithm assessment and development.
• Perform space protection and space threat susceptibility, vulnerability analysis and resiliency assessment.
• Perform analyses related to orbit determination, target tracking, GNSS analysis, and signal integrity.
• Conduct a range of analysis using modeling, simulation and analysis tools.
• Applies standard techniques to prescribed scientific/engineering tasks.
