Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation invites applications for a Remote Sensing Architecture Graduate Intern. The role uses modeling and simulation to verify requirements, perform AoA analyses, and assess performance of space-based sensing architectures across projects mentored by staff and fellow interns.

Applicants should be enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program in a STEM field, with strong programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB, and a willingness to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Availability for a minimum of 10 weeks full-time during internship.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 and transcripts required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in national security space domains like geo-spatial or signals intelligence.
• Provide analyses to support research, development and acquisition decisions.
• Perform architecture evaluation modeling of performance with internal tools.
• Collaborate with staff to translate customer needs into project objectives.
