Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a bold and dynamic Software Program Integration Lead for the Space Suit to coordinate software across engineering, program management, and systems integration. This role sits at the intersection of multiple disciplines and requires strong leadership to ensure cohesive delivery.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or MIS with 10 years of experience or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with systems integration.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Proven leadership including project management, stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define integration strategies and schedules aligned with program needs.
• Plan software delivery across teams to meet objectives.
• Identify and escalate software risks early for mitigation.
• Oversee builds and integration environments for the Space Suit program.
• Support system-level testing and validation and ensure compatibility across components.
• Coordinate ICDs, architecture diagrams, release docs, risk registers, and status reports.
• Act as main interface between software, systems engineering, hardware, QA/testing, DevSecOps.
