Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. seeks a Software Program Integration Lead to coordinate software delivery for a Space Suit program in Houston, driving integration strategies and cross-team collaboration.

The role requires 10+ years of related experience, deep SDLC and systems integration knowledge, and strong leadership in agile environments. Onsite work in Houston with a competitive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

10 or more years of related experience.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with systems integration.
Familiarity with agile methodology and the Scrum framework.
Proven leadership experience including project management, stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, technical decision-making, risk management, and prioritization.
Track record of making things happen in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results.
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems, and 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Define integration strategies and schedules in alignment with program needs.
Plan how the software delivery from the various software teams will work together to meet program objectives.
Identify program software risk early and elevate that to the program and functional leaders for awareness, impact assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Oversee software builds and integration environments specific to the program, but in alignment with the goal to have streamlined software product delivery.
Support system-level testing and validation.
Develop and maintain integration plans and resolve compatibility issues between systems.
Coordinate contingency plans when integration problems arise.
Track milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate cross-functional schedules and elevate issues that could delay delivery.
Report software development/delivery status to program leadership.
Ensure integration activities stay on schedule.
Act as the primary point of contact between software engineering, systems engineering, hardware teams, QA/testing, DevSecOps, etc.
Drive issue resolution across organizations and facilitate intentional technical meetings.
Coordinate various testing and V&V efforts for all program specific software in alignment with the V&V plan.
Collaborate with the Software Release Manager to coordinate software releases, ensuring all components are compatible prior to deployment.
Collaborate with respective stakeholders to deliver program specific integration plans, ICDs, architecture diagrams, release documentation, risk registers, and status reports.
