Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Structural Analysis Intern in Long Beach, CA to support simulations and physics-based analysis for Space Systems and Space Components. You will work closely with mentors, applying engineering concepts to real challenges in a fast-paced team environment.

You’ll attend frequent 1:1s, participate in tech talks, and grow professionally while contributing to ongoing design validation and improvements. This is an on-site internship beginning May/June 2027 for at least 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical, or Mechanical engineering discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)
