Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Structural Analysis Intern in Long Beach, California. You will support the Structural Analysis Team with detailed simulations and physics-based analysis, contributing to Space Systems and components while learning from mentors.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, attend regular 1:1s, and engage in tech talks and networking events with interns and staff. Strong collaboration across teams is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical, or Mechanical engineering discipline with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above required.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze with mentors to support Structural Analysis activities.
• Perform simulations and physics-based analyses for Space Systems and Components.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results and progress updates.
