Job summary

Vast in Long Beach is seeking an Integration Technician on 2nd shift to support development of systems for Haven Station. This full‑time, non‑exempt role reports to the Supervisor, Integration and is based in Long Beach.

You will assemble, install, and test flight hardware, read and interpret technical drawings, and operate precision tools while collaborating with engineers to ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 6+ years of hardware assembly, test, and/or installation experience.
• Experience in aerospace or high-reliability environments preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and test flight hardware in accordance with procedures, specifications, and test instructions
• Read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions to execute integration operations
• Operate precision calibrated tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers
• Perform hands‑on operations with both large and small fragile assemblies, maintaining careful handling throughout
• Perform high-pressure pneumatic testing
• Operate various mechanical hand and power tools without supervision
• Collaborate with production engineers and quality personnel to develop, execute, and document integration activities
• Maintain compliance with standard industry ESD best practices during all operations
• Ensure all work is performed on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support an efficient and effective work environment
