Job summary

Vast is hiring an Integration Build Specialist II to support development of systems for build and test of artificial-gravity space stations. This full-time role in Long Beach reports to the Manager, Integration and involves planning tests, coordinating teams, and ensuring efficient assembly practices.

The candidate will develop and refine manufacturing processes, collaborate with engineers and technicians, and travel up to 50% as needed to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on integration, build, or test experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience writing test plans, procedures, and providing go/no-go judgments.

Responsibilities

• Support operations with Integration Technicians and Engineering REs.
• Be a permanent engineering presence to unblock operations and resolve blockers.
• Plan, schedule, prepare, coordinate, direct, and execute tests.
