Job summary

Vast is advancing Haven Station and related space infrastructure from design to flight-ready systems. We’re seeking an Integration Engineer, Avionics Test, to drive development and execution of human-rated vehicle processes as Haven-1 nears launch.

This full-time, exempt role is based in Long Beach, CA. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining flight hardware test procedures, coordinating cross-functional test plans, and guiding testing events with technical authority.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on fabrication, assembly, and/or integration experience; CAD proficiency (NX preferred).
• 2-4+ years of experience for Manufacturing Engineer II; 4-6+ years for Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
• Experience with fixtures, tolerances, and interfaces for flight hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test procedures for flight hardware.
• Evaluate testing processes for safety, quality, function, and efficiency; rectify as needed.
• Plan technical and logistical details to enable efficient tests.
• Enable day-to-day execution of vehicle integration and test flow.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to define/ manage test plans and schedules.
