Rocket Lab seeks a Social Media & Digital Communications Specialist to translate rocket science into compelling stories. You will run one of the most exciting feeds in space, manage live coverage for launches, and shape content across multiple platforms and newsletters while collaborating with engineers and production teams.

This role requires on-site work in the United States, willingness to travel, and a track record of high-engagement campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience running high-growth social channels and digital campaigns.
• A strong portfolio with direct proof of campaigns you built and executed.
• Experience in both organic and paid social campaigns and strategies.
• Flexibility to travel and support on-site activations across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute an aggressive digital editorial calendar aligned with missions and goals.
• Lead day-to-day across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Bluesky and newsletters.
• Tailor content for B2B, B2G, talent candidates, investors, and fans.
• Publish live coverage for launches, events, and milestones with production teams.
• Turn complex rocket science into sharp, accessible content.
• Monitor analytics and optimize reach; experiment with AI tools and formats.
• Maintain Rocket Lab’s brand voice with technical accuracy.
• Draft, shoot, edit, and drive projects from concept to feed daily.
