Northrop Grumman is seeking a Radiation & Survivability Engineering NG Fellow 1 to lead strategy across the Space Systems sector. The role focuses on defense of mission-critical electronics against space radiation, nuclear hardness, and survivability challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a STEM field with extensive engineering experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in radiation effects and survivability, with hands-on test execution.
• Experience leading technical teams and interfacing with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive sector strategy for Radiation and Nuclear survivability engineering.
• Interface with customers, government agencies, and national labs as the technical liaison.
• Lead root-cause investigations and develop mitigation strategies for complex systems.
• Establish sector-wide technical standards and acceptance criteria for RHA.
• Balance risk, cost, and schedule while pushing innovative test methodologies.
