CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Senior Radiation Effects Engineer to lead the Radiation Hardness Assurance program for LEO and beyond. You will design test plans, run environmental simulations, and guide hardware, software, and firmware teams on radiation-tolerance practices.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in space products, a strong physics background, and excellent communication skills to articulate complex results to customers and executives.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Physics from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of space product experience.
• Direct experience with radiation effects for space hardware.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Mansioni

• Own Radiation Hardness Assurance plan for LEO orbits and beyond.
• Simulate environments for various orbits using tools such as OMERE.
• Plan and conduct radiation tests on components and CesiumAstro’s products.
• Advise hardware/firmware engineers on radiation-tolerance practices.
• Lead design reviews to ensure radiation reliability.
