CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Radiation Effects Engineer to lead our radiation hardness assurance program for LEO and beyond. You will simulate environments, plan tests, and advise hardware and software teams on radiation-tolerant design while participating in system-level risk analyses and customer-facing documentation.

Qualificações

Bachelor degree in EE or Physics; space product experience preferred.
Direct experience performing most responsibilities listed.
Experience with radiation environments for space hardware and high-volume parts.

Responsabilidades

Own Radiation Hardness Assurance for LEO and beyond; simulate environments.
Plan and conduct proton, heavy ion and total-dose tests on components and CesiumAstro products.
Advise hardware on part selection and software/firmware on radiation-tolerant practices; participate in design reviews.
