Job summary
Qualis, LLC in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design and development of software for space-domain radar and missile-warning systems. You will work closely with hardware teams to create integrated solutions, lead SDLC activities, and deliver high-impact software products on schedule.
The ideal candidate has senior-level software leadership experience, a DoD-Secret clearance (or ability to obtain), and a track record of delivering complex, timing-sensitive software in
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience designing, developing, integrating, and testing software for hardware-software systems.
- Experience leading software engineering activities and coordinating dependencies.
- Experience working with government customers such as USAF and USSF.
Responsibilities
- Lead research, design, and development of software in conjunction with hardware interfaces.
- Oversee SDLC phases from requirements to testing and delivery.
- Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, including RF control and synchronization.
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain automated builds, tests, and secure configurations.
- Lead integration of radar and external APIs and model timing performance.
