Job summary

Qualis, LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to contribute to Space Domain (SDA) and Missile Warning (MW) missions. You will design, develop, and integrate software with hardware interfaces across the full SDLC, working with cross-functional teams to meet performance goals.

The ideal candidate has hands-on software development experience, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and in teams on challenging radar and models integration tasks.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Graduate Degree with 2+ years; or two years post-secondary/Associate with 8 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating software, performing verification and testing, and troubleshooting hardware/software interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop software in conjunction with hardware interfaces across the SDLC.
• Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, including RF hardware control and synchronization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet performance requirements and system design.
• Develop software test procedures and document results against requirements.
• Coordinate with hardware, systems, test, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
