Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher with many years in RF hardware design and integration.
• Experience with government customers (USAF/USSF) and DoD standards.
• Experience taking products from development to production and obsolescence management.
• Hands-on RF hardware design, measurements, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF engineering execution across the hardware-in-the-loop system and resolve design tradeoffs.
• Develop RF plans, coordinate activities, and review designs with multi-discipline teams.
• Define RF subsystem requirements, interfaces, and signal-path specs.
• Perform link-budget, frequency, and interference analyses to assess performance.
• Guide transmit/receive, channel-simulation, and frequency-conversion designs.
• Establish RF routing, interconnection, shielding, and thermal considerations.
• Coordinate RF schematic/PCB development, bring-up, and procurement issues.
• Define interfaces and timing synchronization across RF, firmware, and software.
• Develop RF calibration methods and ensure recalibration after changes.
• Plan and lead RF integration, verification, and corrective actions.
• Document designs, calibration records, and test procedures.
