Job summary

Qualis, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to advance Space Domain and Missile Warning missions in Huntsville, AL. You will design and develop software in conjunction with hardware interfaces and work across the full SDLC with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires strong technical leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to handle complex, timing-sensitive systems. A DoD Secret clearance is typically required and collaboration with government customers is expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with government customers including USAF and USSF.
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of software in conjunction with hardware interfaces.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop interfaces between hardware and software, including RF control and synchronization.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to software design, development, integration, and test activities.
• Maintain automated builds, tests, and software-related documentation.
