Job summary

Quindar is seeking a QA Engineer to break, observe, and validate software that helps operators track satellites and manage space missions. You will own functional, integration, and exploratory testing for new features, build clear test plans, and contribute to regression coverage to ensure reliability in mission critical workflows.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers, test REST APIs and backend workflows, use logs and browser tools to investigate issues, and apply

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software quality assurance experience or related role.
• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience translating requirements into test plans and cases.
• Experience with test management platforms to organize tests and track coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own functional, integration, and exploratory testing for new features and evolving workflows.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and regression suites based on requirements.
• Test mission-critical workflows including scheduling, automation, and incident handling.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Test APIs and backend workflows in addition to user-facing functionality.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define expected behavior and edge cases.
• Use logs and dev tools to investigate unexpected behavior; apply AI-assisted testing where helpful.
