Job summary

Stratos Solutions is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to provide SETA support in Colorado Springs, focusing on space protection, mission resilience, and integration of critical space capabilities.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, a STEM degree, and hands-on experience in systems engineering, risk management, and mission operations. You will coordinate across Government, SETA, and contractor teams to resolve complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field with 3+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Experience with systems engineering processes, requirements, risk management, and configuration/change management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Govt systems engineering and space protection activities across the system lifecycle.
• Assess space mission architectures for threats, vulnerabilities, risks, resilience, and mission assurance.
• Evaluate protection considerations across spacecraft, ground systems, comms, and mission operations.
