Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Space Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to join an elite SETA team focused on protection of space systems and support for Systems Engineering activities. The successful candidate will lead analysis, risk review, and government-facing technical coordination while applying MBSE concepts, agile practices, and collaboration with multiple government and contractor stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or relevant field with 9+ years experience (Master’s degree with 7+ years acceptable).
Experience in systems engineering processes (SE lifecycle, risk management, change management).
Strong understanding of integrating Government capabilities into operations baseline.

Responsibilities

Directly contribute to government’s mission success through analysis, thought leadership and proactive action.
Assist in planning and oversight of the government’s systems engineering efforts.
Support space protection and mission integration as directed by the government.
Review documentation, represent government interests in forums that support streamlined delivery of new capabilities.
