Blue Origin is seeking a strategic Propellant Supply Chain Senior SCA III to manage procurement for cryogenic systems and related commodities. You will negotiate complex contracts, lead supplier relations, and implement cost reduction initiatives across multiple programs.

In this role, expect extensive interaction with cross-functional teams, travel up to 20%, and responsibility for ensuring timely, compliant procurement outcomes that meet program needs and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 7 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 5 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related supply chain field.
• Minimum 20% travel required.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and government regulations (FAR, DFAR, SOX).
• Knowledge of Propellant Market or similar commodity spot, micro and bulk buys.
• Experience negotiating purchase of large and small scale pressure vessels, cryogenic tanks, and related agreements.

Responsibilities

• Process & Manage RFQ, RFI, and RFPs.
• Lead formal negotiations of pricing, terms, and scope.
• Construct contracting types for major procurement activities and improve efficiencies.
• Own the procurement process from requisition through final payment of invoices.
• Support strategic direction to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery meeting technical requirements.
