Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle is seeking a Subcontract Administrator II or III (Fixed Term) to manage propellant and cryogenic system procurements. You will handle RFQ/RFI/RFPs, negotiate terms, and develop long-term agreements to support launch systems.

The role requires a relevant degree and several years of experience in supply chain, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and travel up to 10–20%. The team focuses on safety, quality, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years (Bachelor) or 5+ years (Master) of procurement experience.
• Experience negotiating large and small-scale pressure vessels and related equipment.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, SOX compliance.
• Ability to manage RFQ/RFI/RFP processes and long-term agreements.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage RFQ, RFI, and RFP activities.
• Lead formal negotiations of pricing, terms, conditions, and scope.
• Construct and manage contracting types (LTAs, MSAs, PSAs) and vendor relationships.
• Own procurement from requisition through final payment and issue resolution.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of materials meeting specs.
• Support strategic direction of procurement and KPI tracking.
