Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington is seeking an experienced Propellant Team SCA III procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing for propellant commodities and cryogenic systems. You will manage RFQs, negotiate contracts, and drive efficiency across the supply chain while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and internal policies.

Travel up to 10% is expected, with 1st shift availability. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, risk assessment, and strong negotiation and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 5+ years in supply chain management.
• Minimum 20% travel required.
• FAR/DFAR and SOX compliance knowledge.
• Experience negotiating purchases of large and small scale pressure vessels and cryogenic systems.
• Experience with LTAs, MSAs, PSA, and various contract types.

Responsibilities

• Process RFQ, RFI, and RFPs and manage negotiations.
• Lead formal negotiations of pricing, terms, and scope.
• Construct contracting strategies to meet program requirements and identify efficiencies.
• Own the procurement process from requisition to payment and resolve issues.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and meets performance requirements.
