Job summary

CesiumAstro in California is seeking summer interns for the Analog & Power Electronics team to work alongside experienced engineers on power electronics projects for space and airborne platforms.

Interns contribute to design, lab characterization, and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience across DC-DC converter topologies, SPICE tools, and PCB layout. Requires enrollment in MS/PhD EE/CE with GPA 3.5+; onsite at CesiumAstro facilities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master of Science (MS) or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with focus in analog or power electronics
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Strong fundamentals in electronics and relevant coursework in power electronics, control, andanalog electronics

Responsibilities

• Support design projects contributing to ongoing programs or roadmap advancement
• Gain hands-on experience in laboratory characterization and troubleshooting of power electronics
• Collaborate with engineers to develop power electronics hardware for space and military products
