Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking Summer 2027 interns to design and build electronics hardware for satellite communication systems. You will work side‑by‑side with design engineers on full‑stack hardware development, from concept through test and delivery, with hands‑on lab work and schematics ownership.

Current students in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a 3.5+ GPA and practical hardware experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS/MS/PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• GPA 3.5 or higher.
• Strong fundamentals in EE topics from coursework.
• Experience designing and building electronics hardware for a project or internship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to schematic capture and PCB layout for space electronics hardware.
• Support lab bring‑up, testing, and debugging of boards.
• Present work to peers and leadership as part of the internship program.
