Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Specialty Systems Engineer to join the Space Defense team. You will apply risk analysis and MBSE in Cameo Systems Modeler to develop responsive sensor payload models and requirements for space systems.

You will collaborate with SMEs across reliability, cybersecurity, and radiation disciplines, translating analyses into actionable model artifacts while supporting program baselines and trade studies. U.S. citizenship and active Secret Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 4+ years relevant experience, or MS with 2+ years.
• US Citizen required with active Secret Clearance.
• Experience modeling in Cameo Systems Modeler (SysML) and Teamwork Cloud.
• Experience in risk management and one or more specialty disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans and reports.
• Perform MBSE activities translating analyses into model-based artifacts.
• Collaborate with SMEs to integrate specialty findings into program baselines and design trades.
