Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a Specialty Systems Engineer to join a collaborative Systems Engineering Integration and Test team developing space sensor payloads. You will apply risk analysis across reliability, availability, radiation, and cybersecurity disciplines using MBSE in Cameo Systems Modeler and Teamwork Cloud.

You will translate specialty analyses into model-based artifacts, establish traceability from stakeholder needs through requirements, architecture, and V&V, and partner with SMEs

Qualifications

BS degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Masters with 2+ years.
U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance.
Experience modeling in Cameo Systems Modeler with SysML and Teamwork Cloud.
Experience in risk management and one or more specialty disciplines: reliability, RAM, radiation, or cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Lead risk assessments and run risk review boards.
Develop MBSE artifacts using Cameo and SysML.
Integrate specialty findings into program baselines and designs.
Collaborate with program management, design engineering, and logistics.
Report metrics on risk, reliability, radiation margins, and cybersecurity posture.
