Job summary

Northrop Grumman – Space Sector in Colorado Springs seeks a Level 5 Operations Training Curriculum Designer/Instructor to shape the future of space missions. This 100% onsite role empowers customers and internal teams through advanced training for on-orbit operations.

Ideal candidates will design technical curricula for aerospace environments, collaborate with mission specialists and engineers, and ensure alignment with current procedures and documentation. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of professional experience OR Master’s with 10 years of experience.
• PhD with 8 years of professional experience is also acceptable.
• Simulation/scenario development experience required.
• Expertise in orbital propagation and perturbations.

Responsibilities

• On-Console Satellite Command and Control.
• Satellite vehicle telemetry analysis.
• Contingency operations procedures.
• Training material development per ISD processes.
• Training delivery to customers and internal staff.
• Training simulators/systems operations for training activities.
• Ground System issue troubleshooting and resolution.
